Perception

Signal

What changed outside — rankings, citations, competitor moves, questions people keep asking. Deliberately not in the first version.

Not in v0

What it would do

Watch the outside and turn changes into triggers. A competitor repositions, a term you should own starts returning someone else, the same question arrives in support for the fourth time — each of those is a reason for work to happen, and none of them is a calendar.

Work that runs on triggers rather than on a schedule is the difference between a system that responds and a content calendar that fills itself.

Why it is deliberately absent

This was left out of the first version on purpose rather than by accident. Perception is the most demanding component to build well and the easiest to build badly, and a system that acts confidently on bad signal is worse than one that waits to be told.

It also would not have been honest to lead with it. The parts that exist are the parts that can be inspected, and adding a perception story before the perception exists is exactly the thing this project keeps refusing to do.
